Prefers medium to dry conditions.

Bouteloua gracilus 'Blonde Ambition' (also called Mosquito grass) - A tufted variety with bluish-gray foliage that turn golden brown in autumn and spikes of chartrueuse flowers like mosquito larvae that hang from one side of stems in early to mid summer that mature to blond seed heads. Prefers dry conditions.

Prefers medium wet conditions. Can be invasive.
